As a non-profit organization, we are always looking for volunteers and help in many areas within this organization. Sharing your own miscarriage story is welcomed, as we appreciate new content for our blog and social media pages. Below is a list of opportunities we have available within the EPLA. If you feel compelled to reach out to us for opportunities, please click here, and someone will be in touch shortly.
Early pregnancy loss is the loss of a unique and infinitely valuable life, often bringing great grief to women and families as they suffer this death. In isolation, this weight seems too great for one to bear. But together, when we carry one another's burdens, the weight is eased, making room for peace and hope.
Writers We need contributions to our Blog and Newsletter. These can be personal or educational stories about miscarriage. Stories will be reviewed, approved, and edited before publication.
Committee Service We are always looking for volunteers to serve on our committees: Marketing, Fundraising and Grants, Education, and Bill Pay Research
Community Outreach & Event Planning We need volunteers to help plan community events such as our Volunteer Appreciation Brunch/Annual Meeting, and our Lunch and Learn for hospital employees.
Assembly Volunteers We need volunteers to help assemble materials such as: Educational Resource Folders, Miscarriage Care Kits, and the Friends and Family Campaign mailing. You can participate in a scheduled assembly event, prepare materials on your own time at home, or get a group together for your own assembly event.
Social Media Content Development We always need new content. Volunteers will be part of a team of designers who create social media content for Facebook and Instagram using Canva.com.
